Agigo is currently recruiting an Accounting Manager to join Vizrt, a global market-leading company renowned for its software solutions that enable high-level live virtual storytelling. In the role as Accounting Manager, your main responsibility will be to assist the Finance Manager EMEA in supervising the compilation, analysis, and reporting of financial data for the region, specifically focusing on AP/AR within designated entities. Additionally, you will handle financial reporting, tax declarations, and ensure that the finance teams comply with local and international regulations. 

This position is based at Vizrt’s Stockholm offices at Lilla Bantorget 15, in the center of Stockholm. As Accounting Manager you will initially have the responsibility for the operational and holding functions in Sweden and Switzerland, including 9 entities. 

Responsibilities 

You will report to, and work closely with Finance Manager EMEA, and be highly involved in all processes. You will also work closely with the Group function, as well as finance teams in other countries. Additionally, you will lead and support the EMEA AP team and the Swedish team with focus on improving processes and internal control. The role will have six direct reports.

Overall, you will be responsible for the accounting and reporting of the region’s entities and are expected to take the lead in developing, implementing, and refining new and existing procedures, ensuring quality and efficiency. Something which practically consists of the following: 

• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting to group. 
• Responsible for monthly reporting and annual financial statements. 
• Responsible for tax reporting for local accounts and tax reporting to group accounting. 
• Establish new internal structures and processes and streamline existing ones. 
• Independently develop strategies to successfully lead and support the AP/AR team from Sweden and Switzerland. 
• Responsible for managing fixed assets/intangible assets. 
• Quality assurance over the region’s financial figures and reports. 

We are looking for someone who has: 

• Relevant financial education and 5-10 years of experience in accounting and finance. 
• Good knowledge of local accounting principles and IFRS regulations. 
• Experience in leading teams in an international environment. 
• Proficiency in Excel and other accounting programs (advantageous to have experience with Navision and Dynamics 365). 
• Strong communication skills in English and Swedish. 
• Experience from audit (advantageous if from Big 4).
