The role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced financial leader to join our team as the Head of Financial Control. In this strategic role, you will oversee all aspects of financial operations and play a key role in driving informed strategic decisions and supporting the achievement of our business objectives. You will report to the CFO, with whom you will also closely collaborate, and have daily interaction with our outsourced agency, Staria.

Responsibilities

• Providing strategic financial leadership by collaborating with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.
• Conducting regular financial analysis and variance analysis to provide insights and recommendations that support business decisions.
• Leading the accounting function, including managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial reporting, and liquidity management.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, internal control frameworks, and tax regulations.
• Managing the annual audit process, leading the month-end closing process, ensuring prompt and accurate financial reporting, and serving as the point of contact for outsourcing partners and external auditors. Responsible for the efficient integration of figures, processes, and workflows.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, investors, and regulatory authorities.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency within the finance department.
• Promoting a high-performance team environment by motivating and developing staff.

Qualifications:

• Relevant financial education along with 5-10 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Proven track record in leading and managing a finance team.
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and best practices, as well as the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Experience in financial consolidation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced
• environment.
• Proficient user of ERP systems.
