Group Accounting & Reporting Manager to Europa Biosite

We are looking for someone who wants to take the next step in their career and seize the opportunity to build and further develop the Europa Biosite group’s structure for financial consolidation and internal control — supporting our international growth journey.
As Group Accounting & Reporting Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the Group’s consolidation process and the consolidated accounts, the development of robust control frameworks, and the financial integration of newly acquired entities.
You will report directly to the CFO and become a key member of the finance function. The position is full-time, based at our headquarters in Täby, with flexibility for remote work. Occassional travel to group entities is required for the role.
Your responsibilities

Lead and manage the preparation of the Group’s monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements

Perform group consolidation and ensure accurate financial reporting (currently according to K3, to be converted to IFRS)

Accounting responsibility for the Holding entities in the Group

Manage VAT and tax-related matters

Act as active support to local finance managers across the Group

Develop and enhance the Group’s accounting policies, processes, and systems

Develop and implement an effective internal control framework

Plan and coordinate quarterly and annual audits and be owner of group audit process

Drive the integration of newly acquired companies within the Group

Take ownership of the Group’s consolidation tool and contribute to development of appropriate reporting and consolidation tools for the Group.
Your background

University degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
-
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment

Solid knowledge of K3 and IFRS

Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Experience from Big 4 is an advantage

Experience with the Aaro consolidation system is a plus

Strong proficiency in Excel is required
